Position Overview
Prime Vacation Rentals is seeking a dependable, organized, and hands-on Property Services Manager to oversee the daily operations and presentation of our vacation rental homes. This position plays a key role in ensuring every property meets company standards and is fully guest-ready before each arrival.
The Property Services Manager will oversee housekeeping operations, laundry coordination, property inspections, vendor communication, and team accountability while helping maintain a high standard of cleanliness and guest satisfaction across all managed homes.
Primary Responsibilities
Property & Guest Readiness Oversight
- Conduct guest-ready inspections prior to arrivals
- Ensure all homes meet company cleanliness and presentation standards
- Verify homes are fully stocked with required supplies and amenities
- Inspect for maintenance concerns, damages, or safety issues
- Coordinate with maintenance teams for repairs and follow-up
Housekeeping Management
- Oversee housekeeping staff and cleaning schedules
- Train and support housekeeping personnel on company standards
- Monitor cleaning quality and performance expectations
- Assist with hiring, scheduling, coaching, and termination of housekeeping staff when necessary
- Ensure all turnover cleans are completed on time
Laundry Operations
- Oversee linen and laundry operations
- Maintain inventory levels of linens, towels, and cleaning supplies
- Coordinate laundry schedules to support property turnover needs
- Ensure proper organization and quality control of linens
Team & Vendor Coordination
- Communicate daily with housekeeping, maintenance, and office staff
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed
- Assist in creating efficient operational procedures and workflows
- Respond to operational issues in a timely and professional manner
Administrative & Operational Duties
- Maintain inspection reports and operational checklists
- Help manage supply inventory and ordering
- Assist leadership with operational planning and staffing needs
- Support company goals related to guest satisfaction and property care
- Must be willing to assist with housekeeping cleans and laundry operations during slower seasons or when operationally needed
- Company tablet/iPad will be provided for all required computer work, inspections, scheduling, and operational communication
Qualifications
- Prior experience in housekeeping, hospitality, property management, or vacation rentals preferred
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple properties and schedules efficiently
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license required
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- Weekend and holiday availability is required
- Must be available during peak vacation rental turnover periods
- Must be dependable, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
- Must be willing to work in both management and hands-on operational roles when needed
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
- Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds
- Must be able to work in varying weather conditions
- Must pass background check
