Field Mapping Technician / OSP Data Collector
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Field Technician to conduct comprehensive walkouts and verification of network infrastructure. The primary responsibility is to map and verify all field elements, including Residential, Commercial, MDU (Multi-Dwelling Unit), Equipment, Cable, Pole, and Fiber Interconnect data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct field walkouts to map and verify existing network assets.
- Ensure accuracy of Residential, Commercial, MDU, Equipment, Cable, Pole, and Fiber Interconnect locations and specifications.
- Adhere to specific restrictions and guidelines outlined in project documentation.
- Document field findings accurately using designated software and equipment.
Required Tools & Equipment:
Candidates must possess or provide the following tools:
- Personal vehicle ( car or scooter)
- IPad or Microsoft Surface
- Blue Beam Software (installed and operational)
- Measuring Wheel
- Rangefinder (with Rechargeable Battery)
- Star Key Can Wrench Kit (LC, LG, LB, & LS Patterns)
- P Key (for Self Lock Pedestal Lock)
- Neon color shirts (for safety visibility)
Qualifications:
- Ability to read and interpret mapping specifications and restrictions.
- Prior experience in OSP (Outside Plant) mapping, telecommunications, or utility field verification preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Pay: $1,500.00 - $2,000.00 per week
