Phlebotomy Instructor Requirements:
Qualifications:
- Required to be a Medical Laboratory Scientist/Medical Laboratory Technician
- Must have 3 years experience in a clinical lab setting
- Required to have MLS/MT/MLT/NHA Certification
- College teaching experience preferred but not required
- Has knowledge of education methods and administration
- Teaching assignment(s) will depend on institutional needs
- Coordinate and oversee day to day course operations with students.
- Must be comfortable with recording lectures and utilizing platforms such as Zoom or Google classroom and learning management systems
Bachelor degree in medical technology or medical/clinical laboratory science
* 3 full-time years (or equivalent) of verified related paid work experience as a medical laboratory technologist/scientist
One year of this work experience shall be within the five years immediately preceding the date of application for the credential field
The recency requirement shall be waived if the individual has two years of successful full-time (or equivalent) postsecondary teaching experience in the credential field within the last five years
Phlebotomy Instructor Responsibilities:

Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
