What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Worker and Furniture Processor position at Prime Time Leasing?
Position Summary
Clean and prepare furniture for rental including bedroom, living room, dining room, and upholstered items. Pull furniture for deliveries and put furniture away in designated areas. Assist in delivering and picking up furniture as needed.
Responsibilities
Clean and prepare furniture upon return for next install.
- Repair furniture as needed.
- Unload trucks after pickups and pre-load truck for following day deliveries.
- Check furniture in and out using a scanner.
- Help to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment within the warehouse.
- Use proper furniture carrying techniques to prevent damage to furniture and residence.
- As needed, properly document the delivery/pickup including items that will require further attention or follow up. Notify home office of challenges and customer requests during delivery or pickup of furniture.
- If needed, install and pickup housewares as a Driver’s Helper. Including setting up kitchen items, bathrooms, and bedrooms. When needed.
- Train to become an installer/driver.
Qualifications

- At least 1-year driving and delivery experience.
- Fluent in English language to communicate with customers and coworkers. Spanish fluency is a plus.
- Clear MVR and Class C or CDL license.
- Ability to use an upholstery cleaner to clean upholstered items and rugs.
- With a partner, ability to safely lift and carry over 100 lbs. (including up and down stairs).
- Understanding of basic use of hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to work overtime when required.
- Note: this is a Monday – Friday position, weekends are not required.
Competitive pay will be established based on experience including base pay and bonus pay.
