Surgical Floor (2nd Floor)

Patient Types:
Medical: CHF, Sepsis, COPD, CVA, DVT, PE, Cellulitis, AKI, ETOH, Psych, IVDA, Hospice
Post Surgical Patients: Ortho, Neuro, Urology, GYN, ENT, GI Surgeries (Hemicoloctomy, Exploratory lap, GIB ), Spinal Surgeries (ECDF, Fusions, Lami), GU (TURP, Cysto), Pulmonology (VATS/RATS), Surg Onc (esophagectomy), ENT (laryngectomy)
Inpatient Oncology patients. Travelers could give chemotherapy
Patient Ratios:
Day: 1:5-6. If delivering chemo, 1:3-4
Required Certifications:
BLS, NIHSS, and ONS Chemo Provider Card required. OCN certification not required.
