Prime Time Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Portland, Maine.

Travel RN – Medical Telemetry / IMC | Maine Medical Center | Portland, ME
- Unit: Bean 5; 43 beds.
- Shift: Days, 48-hour contract requested.
- Weekends: Every other weekend.
- Holidays: As needed.
- Call: None.
- EMR: Epic.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience.
- BLS.
- Tracheostomy care and telemetry strip interpretation required for all RNs.
- Ventilator experience required for IMC RNs.
- Mandatory MMC onboarding education.
Ratios: Med/Surg days 1:4–1:5; nights 1:5–1:6. IMC listed as 3 patients per RN on both shifts.
Patient Population: Respiratory failure, medical telemetry, sepsis, DKA, altered mental status, failure to thrive, some surgical patients, and acute-on-chronic medical conditions.
Equipment/Skills: Ventilators, BiPAP/CPAP, oxygen delivery systems, trach care, epidural/IV/PCA pumps, wound VACs, and specialty beds.
Floating: Required to other IMC or Med/Surg units based on competency and staffing needs.
Scrubs: No specific color listed; professional attire required.
