We are currently seeking a qualified Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) for a travel job in Athol, Massachusetts. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced clinical laboratory environment and be able to exercise independent judgment when necessary.
Responsibilities:
- Performing a variety of laboratory tests and procedures
- Collecting and processing biological specimens
- Analyzing test results and reporting data to medical staff
- Participating in quality control and quality assurance activities
- Developing and implementing new laboratory procedures as needed
Requirements:
- AAS degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field
- Current certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)
- 1-2 years of experience working in a clinical laboratory setting
