VP of Product (B2B SaaS, Salesforce Ecosystem) – Denver, CO
Hybrid onsite: In-office presence expected Tuesdays and Wednesdays
Base Compensation $190-230K, bonus and equity
Our client is actively seeking a VP of Product to drive strategy and product management for a Salesforce ISV. This role will oversee the product team dedicated to enhancing customer engagement and outcomes, spearhead product iterations, and provide strategic direction in product design, development, execution, and implementation throughout the organization.
Role Overview
- Lead the product team for a B2B SaaS company with ~50 employees, focusing on driving product strategy, customer engagement, and market responsiveness.
- Build coalitions for decision-making, synthesize feedback, and make clear, thoughtful, informed choices for the organization.
- Actively participate in sales processes and maintain direct customer contact to understand market needs.
- Manage a team of 4 direct reports in UI/UX & Product Management
- Oversee adoption of AI tools in product design and development.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive product vision, strategy, and execution in alignment with company goals.
- Engage directly with customers and sales to inform product direction.
- Lead, coach, and develop product managers and designers.
- Implement and optimize AI-driven design and product development tools.
- Balance team structure and roles as product needs evolve.
- Ensure rigorous decision-making and risk mitigation.
- Promote self-awareness and continuous improvement within the leadership team.
Qualifications
- Proven experience leading product in a B2B SaaS environment, ideally within the Salesforce ecosystem.
- Track record of building and scaling product teams in mid-sized organizations.
- Strong decision-making, coalition-building, and communication skills.
- Experience with UI/UX design, customer research, and AI tools in product development.
- Ability to coach and develop team members, especially those new to management.
- High self-awareness and openness to feedback.
