Overview
We are seeking a Field Security Architect to join our team and deliver exceptional experiences for enterprise clients. The ideal candidate will combine the strengths of a Security Architect, Solutions Engineer, and Customer Success professional. You will be the primary technical contact for prospects and customers. In your role you will be responsible for excellent POV experience, smooth onboarding and full adoption. Also you will serve as the voice of the customer for our secure design review platform. This role requires both strong security architect- skills, extensive knowledge in SDLC and PDLC, and the ability to build lasting customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Proof Of Value: Help new prospects to gain the value of the platform through all stages of the POV period.
- Customer Onboarding: Serve as the primary technical advisor to the customer, ensuring a seamless transition from POV to full onboarding. This includes leading onboarding sessions, configuring the platform to customer requirements, and ensuring rapid time-to-value.
- Customer trusted advisor: Work closely with customers to understand workflows, gather requirements, and ensure our platform meets evolving needs. Collect, analyze, and relay customer feedback to product and engineering teams.Provide proactive, high-touch support to key accounts, ensuring satisfaction and long-term retention.
- Escalation Management: Act as the point of escalation for complex technical issues, coordinating with internal teams to drive resolution.
Required Qualifications
Experience:
- 5 years in a customer-facing technical role (Customer Success, Solutions Engineering, or similar)
- Demonstrated experience as a Security Architect or in a security-focused role
- Deep understanding of technology, security review processes, and development methodologies
- Hands-on experience with threat modeling in enterprise environments
- Proven track record of working within or alongside software development teams
Skills and Knowledge:
- Extensive familiarity with software development processes, tools, and methodologies including:
- CI/CD pipelines and integration points for security tooling
- Version control systems, issue tracking, and collaboration platforms
- Security integration points throughout the SDLC/PDLC
- Comprehensive knowledge of PDLC (Product Development Life Cycle) phases and security touchpoints:
- Requirements gathering and security requirements definition
- Design phase security reviews and architecture assessments
- Implementation phase secure coding practices
- Testing phase security validation
- Deployment and maintenance security considerations
- Familiarity with security frameworks (e.g., OWASP, NIST, ISO 27001, MITRE ATT&CK)
- Experience with common development and devops tools and platforms (e.g., JIRA, GitHub, Jenkins, Azure DevOps,)
- Understanding of threat modeling methodologies (e.g., STRIDE, PASTA, Attack Trees, LINDDUN)
- Familiarity with recent AI trends and AI based software development
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to explain complex security concepts to diverse audiences
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to customer challenges
- Experience working with enterprise customers and managing escalations
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, and sales teams
- Industry certifications such as CISSP, ISSLP, ISSAP are a plus.
