Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Safety Representative role at Prime Safety Management LLC in Charleston, SC, supporting a civil construction project.
The Safety Representative will be responsible for conducting site safety audits and other construction safety management objectives. The Safety Specialist must also be well-versed in basic computer software applications and safety document control. Must have previous experience in civil construction or related sites. Silica dust control, respiratory protection, LOTO, electrical, fire safety, PPE, crane and rigging, and IH safety experience is required.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience as a safety professional working within a construction site or similar commercial/civil construction projects is required.
- A BCSP CHST, GSP, CSP, OHST, SMP, ASP, STSC, STS, or BS degree in safety is preferred.
- OSHA 510 or OSHA 30 Construction is required at a minimum.
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
