Duties
- Respond quickly to roadside assistance requests, assessing vehicle issues on-site
- Perform repairs such as tire changes, battery jumps, fuel deliveries, and lockouts using hand tools and power tools
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot vehicle problems accurately and efficiently
- Conduct vehicle maintenance checks and minor repairs to ensure safety and functionality
- Use specialized equipment like ohmmeters to diagnose electrical issues within vehicles
- Maintain detailed records of service calls, repairs performed, and parts used
- Communicate clearly with dispatch teams and customers to coordinate assistance and provide updates
Experience
- Proven experience as a roadside assistance provider or automotive technician with a strong mechanical background
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment such as ohmmeters
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures and common automotive repairs
- Ability to work independently in diverse outdoor environments under varying weather conditions
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction
- Prior experience with electrical diagnostics or vehicle troubleshooting is highly desirable
