Duties
- Respond swiftly to roadside assistance requests, assessing vehicle issues on-site
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to perform repairs such as tire changes, battery jumps, fluid top-ups, and minor mechanical fixes
- Conduct vehicle inspections to identify mechanical problems and determine necessary repairs
- Utilize technical tools like ohmmeters for electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used during each assistance call
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during all roadside activities to protect yourself and motorists
- Communicate clearly with dispatch teams to update on service status and any additional needs
Requirements
- Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with experience in vehicle maintenance or repair
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and electrical diagnostic equipment such as ohmmeters
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on safety and efficiency
- Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to operate service vehicles safely
- Prior experience with electrical diagnostics or automotive troubleshooting is a plus
