We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Construction Senior Field Manager to lead the field superintendents in the successful execution of complex, multiple commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. The ideal candidate brings an in-depth knowledge of field construction management, strong leadership and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
As a Construction Senior Field Manager, you will be responsible for managing field operations, supervising site superintendents, and providing strategic and technical guidance to project managers. The Senior Field Manager ensures that projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards and client expectations.
- Directly manage and mentor a Field Manager and a team of field superintendents across multiple commercial construction projects.
- Provide high-level support and guidance to project managers, helping resolve technical challenges, schedule conflicts, and resource issues.
- Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee day-to-day jobsite activities, ensuring compliance with company procedures, safety protocols, and construction best practices.
- Conduct periodic site visits and inspections to evaluate progress, quality, safety, and workforce productivity.
- Collaborate with Field Manager and superintendents to develop and maintain realistic, efficient construction schedules.
- Assist in pre-construction planning, constructability reviews, and project logistics coordination.
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and staffing needs, adjusting field operations as necessary to meet project goals.
- Participate in subcontractor and supplier selection and evaluation.
- Serve as a key liaison between field teams and senior leadership, ensuring clear communication of goals, issues, and progress.
- Support client relations by representing the company professionally on site and during project meetings.
- Identify skill gaps and training needs within the field team.
- Mentor superintendents and emerging leaders to develop the next generation of field leadership.

Qualifications
- Experience with multiple local municipalities
- Experience reading and interpreting construction blueprints
- Strong ability to navigate the MEP requirements of a project
- Must demonstrate strong leadership, organizational and time-management skills as well as have strong communication and client relationship skills
- Strong scheduling abilities along with utilization of Microsoft Projects and other company-specific programs
- Knowledge of and experience with field staffing projects
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
Required Education
- BS Degree in Construction Management or Business with a minimum of ten years’ experience in Project Management required
- OSHA 30 certification
Additional Eligibility Requirements
- In lieu of a degree, 12 years of field superintendent experience with at least 7 years in a lead superintendent position
