What Your Day-to-Day Looks Like
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance, inspections, and repairs on diesel and natural gas generators
- Diagnose and troubleshoot Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS), generator controls, excitation systems, and related equipment
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals with care and accuracy
- Complete service documentation thoroughly and on time
- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers regarding equipment status and service findings
- Follow established safety procedures, company policies, and industry best practices consistently
What We're Looking For
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 3 years of power generation experience
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Comfort working from technical documentation and established procedures
- A careful, detail-oriented approach to diagnostics and recordkeeping
- Professional, straightforward communication style
- Valid driving record with fewer than three moving violations and no felony convictions
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
