Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Ambulatory/Urgent Care
Location: Dulce, NM 87528
Worksite: Jicarilla Service Unit (JSU) – Indian Health Service (IHS)
Schedule: Day Shift | 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Contract: 1 year with up to 4 optional extension years
Credentialing/Onboarding: Approximately 6–8 weeks
Job Summary
We are seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide clinical and administrative support in an ambulatory/urgent care environment at the Jicarilla Service Unit in Dulce, New Mexico.
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certificate.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Prior CNA/NA clinical experience in an ambulatory, outpatient, or urgent care setting preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Ability to accurately obtain and document patient vital signs.
- Strong communication, organizational, and patient-service skills.
- Experience with EHR documentation preferred.
- RPMS experience is a plus; training can be provided if needed.
- Experience serving rural, remote, underserved, Native American, or tribal healthcare populations is preferred.
Work Schedule :
Monday–Friday Day Shift: 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
8 working hours per day, including a 30-minute unpaid lunch and two 15-minute paid breaks.
