Responsibilities
Fingerprint Technician:
- Greet applicants, manager appointments and guide clients through the enrollment process with patience and professionalism.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding applicant background checks, data records, and PII (Personally Identifiable Information) in alignment with privacy laws and regulations.
- Inspect legal and government-issued identification documents (driver's licenses, passports) to confirm applicant identity.
- Provide fingerprint-based background checks for employment, licensing, and other security purposes.
- Accurately enter demographic and tracking data into secure processing systems, confirm scheduling queues, and manage daily client flow.
- Operate specialized Live Scan digital fingerprinting equipment and capture clear images meeting strict quality standards.
- Perform secure data entry, manage paperwork, and safeguard confidential client and patient personal information.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and upkeep of the area and the equipment.
- Provide information, services, and assistance to clients and patients at PRIME on-site events and various PRIME Clinics.
- Maintains medical supplies inventory and performs preventive maintenance to keep medical equipment operating, including sterilization of medical instruments.
- Verifies patient information, medical histories by interviewing patients, documenting medical history, and confirming purpose of visit.
- Prepares patients for examination by performing preliminary physical tests; drug & alcohol screening, audiograms, EKG's, pulmonary function test, respirator fit test; and reporting patient history summary.
- Saves doctors' time by helping with office procedures.
- Assist in injury care
- Perform phlebotomy service and give injections.
- Secures patient information and maintains patient confidence by completing and safeguarding medical records; completing diagnostic coding and procedure coding; and keeping patient information confidential.
- Updating and filing medical records according to State and Federal laws.
- Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by establishing and following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.
- Keeps supplies ready by inventorying stock, placing orders, and verifying receipt.
- Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, performing preventive maintenance.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading professional publications.
- Serves and protects the practice by adhering to professional standards; facility policies and procedures; and federal, state, and local requirements.
- Enhances practice reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

- Must have the ability to take on call on a rotating basis and provide services to surrounding PRIME locations and on-site.

- Must be a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) or equivalent.
- Must be able to pass the IDEMIA background check requirements such as Federal and State background checks.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of working experience as a Medical Assistant required
