Position Overview

This is a Sales & Marketing focused internship within our Odoo ERP Practice, designed for candidates who want to build a career in B2B SaaS / ERP sales, presales, and digital marketing. The program combines structured training with real-world exposure to lead generation, sales pipelines, and marketing campaigns for Odoo ERP solutions.

You will undergo 2 - 3 months of intensive training on Odoo ERP, sales processes, and marketing tools, followed by hands-on involvement in live sales and marketing activities.

The training is completely free, and in addition to the Internship Certificate, there is a performance-based stipend payable whenever you contribute to closing a deal (commission / incentive-based).

About This Internship Program

This is a learning-first internship. The focus is on:

  • Understanding the Odoo ERP product and its value proposition
  • Learning how to position ERP solutions to SMEs and enterprises
  • Gaining hands-on exposure to B2B sales and digital marketing funnels
  • Building confidence in client communication and demos
  • Learning how sales, marketing, and delivery teams work together in an ERP services company
Program Duration
  • Total Duration: 2–3 months (flexible based on performance and project needs)
  • Schedule: Full-time or Part-time
  • Mode: Remote  (On-site visit incase of business requirement)
  • Mentorship: Guided by senior sales / presales / ERP consultants
Key Responsibilities

As a Sales & Marketing Intern – Odoo ERP, your responsibilities will include:

1. Lead Generation & Prospecting
  • Research potential clients in target industries and regions
  • Build and maintain lead lists using LinkedIn, company websites, and other sources
  • Qualify leads based on defined Ideal Customer Profile (ICP)
  • Assist in outreach campaigns (email, LinkedIn, calls as applicable)
2. CRM & Pipeline Management (Odoo CRM)
  • Work inside Odoo CRM to:
  • Create and update leads and opportunities
  • Track stages in the sales pipeline
  • Log communication and follow-ups
  • Ensure data hygiene and accuracy in CRM entries
  • Generate basic pipeline and conversion reports
3. Sales Support & Presales Coordination
  • Assist in preparing:
  • Sales presentations
  • Product brochures and one-pagers
  • Proposal templates and basic quotations (under guidance)
  • Support demo preparation:
  • Configure demo databases
  • Organize use cases and scenarios with the presales team
  • Participate in client calls (where appropriate) as observer or junior contributor
4. Marketing Activities & Campaign Support
  • Support email marketing campaigns:
  • Assist in drafting campaign content (subject lines, body, CTAs)
  • Help with audience segmentation and sending via tools (Odoo Email Marketing / external)
  • Assist in social media and content marketing:
  • Ideate and draft basic posts about ERP, Odoo features, case studies
  • Support design team with content inputs for creatives
  • Track campaign performance:
  • Open rates, click-through, responses, and basic analytics
5. Requirement Understanding & Coordination with BA/Delivery
  • Understand at a high level:
  • Client pain points
  • Business processes (Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Accounting, HR, etc.)
  • Coordinate with Business Analysts / Consultants to:
  • Capture high-level requirements
  • Ensure proposals and demos align with client needs
  • Learn to position Odoo modules based on customer requirements
6. Reporting & Documentation
  • Prepare:
  • Daily / weekly reports on leads, calls, meetings, and campaigns
  • Basic MIS reports on conversion and funnel movement
  • Maintain structured documentation of:
  • Prospects and interactions
  • Meeting notes and next actions

  • Practical understanding of B2B sales cycles in ERP / IT services
  • Hands-on experience with Odoo CRM: leads, opportunities, pipeline tracking

  • Exposure to proposal and quotation workflows
Marketing & Communication Skills
  • Basic email and digital marketing knowledge for B2B
  • Experience with content inputs for campaigns and social media
  • Improved written and verbal communication for professional audiences
  • Understanding of positioning and messaging for complex technical products
ERP & Business Understanding
  • Overview of Odoo ERP modules and how they solve business problems
  • Understanding of typical SME business processes (Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Finance, HR)
  • Ability to connect business pain points with ERP-based solutions

Performance-Based Stipend / Incentives

This internship includes a performance-based stipend:

  • There is no fixed monthly stipend
  • You will receive a performance-based incentive / stipend whenever you contribute to closing a deal
  • Incentives may be linked to:
  • Qualified leads that convert to clients
  • Deals where you supported presales, follow-ups, or proposal activities
  • The exact incentive structure (per deal / percentage / slabs) will be explained during onboarding

This model rewards interns who are proactive, consistent in follow-ups, and serious about learning sales in a real business environment.

Requirements and QualificationsEssential Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed Bachelor’s degree in:
  • Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, IT, or related fields
  • Strong interest in:
  • B2B Sales, IT / ERP Sales, or Digital Marketing
  • Good written and verbal communication in English (other languages are a plus)
  • Basic understanding of business processes (Sales, Purchase, Accounting, etc.)
  • High willingness to learn, listen, and implement feedback
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior exposure to:
  • CRM tools (HubSpot, Zoho, Odoo, etc.)
  • Sales / marketing internships or student clubs
  • Comfort with:
  • LinkedIn as a professional networking tool
  • MS Office / Google Workspace
  • Any familiarity with Odoo or other ERP systems is a plus, but not mandatory
