Overview
Seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician to join a success driven team. The candidate must have a background in varied electrical systems and an industrial manufacturing environment. They must possess the ability to maintain and troubleshoot essential manufacturing equipment in a time sensitive manner. Applicant must be able to work with, and communicate to, other maintenance personnel and production technicians. A pro-active approach to efficiency and safety is required.
Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in a manufacturing facility
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment and facility electrical problems that arise
- Collaborate with other maintenance and manufacturing personnel to support plant systems, ensuring optimal performance
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment to enable maximum plant efficiency
- Supply purchasing department proper part numbers and source information to aid in the quick delivery of required parts
- Follow/enforce Lock out/Tag out procedures
- Maintain a clean, orderly, safe work environment
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to assist in maintenance tasks and other related duties as required
Requirements
- Strong understanding of AC/DC electrical systems, maintenance principals, and troubleshooting techniques
- Familiarity with electrical measuring and testing equipment
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, diagrams, and technical data
- Must be able to hold 50 pounds at waist level and 25 pounds at shoulder height consistently
- Understand and support the principles of ISO 9001
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.17 - $33.92 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
