JOB TITLE: Maintenance Technician

DEPARTMENT: Manufacturing

LOCATION: Dublin, TX

PAY: $17/hr

SUMMARY: Our Maintenance Technician is responsible for general repair and maintenance of the equipment and machinery within our shop and steel yard.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer’s instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.
• Understand electrical, hydraulic and air powered equipment to determine flaws.
• Cleans and maintains tools and equipment used for machine maintenance.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
• Occasional overnight travel.
  
  

Qualifications

• Prior experience in manufacturing/fabrication shop is preferred but not required.
• Mechanical and electrical experience is required.
• Electronic and automation controls experience.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to trouble shoot equipment.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Acute attention to detail.
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Positive attitude and desire to work as a team player.
• Follow safety procedures including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment.

• Occasional exposure to extreme heat or cold (non-weather).
• While performing the duties of this job, the noise level in the work environment is usually very loud.
