Position Overview
We are seeking a hands-on Market Manager to oversee last-mile logistics operations and carrier performance at a major client location. This hybrid role requires both in-field presence and remote oversight to ensure the successful daily execution of deliveries and adherence to key performance indicators.
Key Responsibilities
- Work Tuesday through Saturday, managing daily logistics and carrier operations
- Oversee loadout operations 5 days/week at the client store dock, assisting and coordinating with carriers
- Assign evening delivery routes and ensure accuracy and timeliness
- Monitor carrier performance during the day and address any service issues in real-time
- Ensure carrier partners meet KPIs, including on-time delivery, customer satisfaction, and compliance
- Serve as the key point of contact between the client, carriers, and internal logistics team
- Report daily performance metrics and provide feedback for continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Previous experience in logistics, delivery operations, or transportation management
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically active environment
- Comfortable using routing/dispatch systems and tracking tools
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Spanish-speaking ability is a strong plus
- Flexibility to work a non-traditional schedule (Tuesday–Saturday)
