Position Summary
The Senior Finance & Accounting Analyst supports the VP of Finance in strengthening Prime IV Hydration & Wellness’s financial reporting, accounting infrastructure, internal controls, audit readiness, and business decision-making.
This role serves as a key finance and accounting partner to the business and is responsible for providing accurate financial analysis, supporting month-end and year-end close, assisting with audits and lender reporting, completing and reviewing accounting outputs, and improving financial processes as the organization continues to grow.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Support the VP of Finance in preparing, reviewing, and analyzing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Review financial results and identify trends, variances, risks, and areas requiring further review.
- Assist with budget-to-actual analysis and provide clear explanations for key financial movements.
- Prepare recurring and ad hoc financial reports for leadership, lenders, auditors, and internal stakeholders.
- Support financial modeling, forecasting, cash flow analysis, and business planning initiatives.
- Help translate financial data into clear insights that support executive decision-making.
Accounting Review & Close Support
- Support month-end and year-end close processes by performing and/or reviewing balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, prepaid expenses, and other close-related schedules.
- Review general ledger activity for accuracy, completeness, and proper classification.
- Assist in validating revenue, royalty, branding fee, commission, payroll, and expense-related entries.
- Partner with the Accounting Specialist and other team members to ensure accounting records are complete, organized, and audit-ready.
- Identify inconsistencies or process gaps and escalate findings to the VP of Finance with recommended corrective steps.
Audit, Compliance & Internal Controls
- Support annual audits, tax documentation requests, lender requests, and financial due diligence processes.
- Maintain and organize financial schedules and supporting documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
- Assist the VP of Finance in strengthening internal controls, approval workflows, separation of duties, and documentation standards.
- Review vendor approval, payment processing, bank access, corporate card, and system-access workflows to support appropriate control structure.
- Help ensure financial processes are aligned with company policy, lender expectations, and generally accepted accounting practices.
Process Improvement & Systems
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve financial reporting accuracy, workflow efficiency, and documentation.
- Assist in refining accounting and finance processes within QuickBooks, Paychex, Corporate credit card, banking platforms, and other financial systems.
- Build repeatable reporting templates, reconciliation schedules, and control checklists.
- Support system cleanup, access review, and departmental centralization of finance-related logins and documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred.
- 4–7 years of experience in accounting, finance, financial reporting, audit support, or financial analysis.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, general ledger activity, reconciliations, and internal controls.
- Experience supporting month-end close, audit preparation, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Advanced Excel skills required; experience with financial modeling, pivot tables, formulas, and reporting templates strongly preferred.
- Experience with QuickBooks Online, Paychex, or similar accounting/payroll/expense systems preferred.
- Experience in franchise, multi-location, healthcare, wellness, retail, or high-growth environments preferred.
- CPA, CMA, or public accounting experience helpful, but not required.

Physical Demands & Work Environment
This role is primarily performed in a professional office or remote office environment. The employee will regularly use a computer, communicate verbally and in writing, and review detailed financial information. The role may require occasional standing, walking, or lifting of materials up to 15 pounds.
