The Fire and Ice Hostess serves as the first point of contact and first impression of the restaurant for the customer. They are responsible for greeting our guests, welcoming them into the restaurant and seating them at their table. They are also responsible for assisting the servers in assuring that the guests have the best experience possible.

They are responsible for greeting our guests, welcoming them into the restaurant and seating them at their table. Responsibilities
- Greets guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Assists guests to their table and presents menu.
- Communicates products and services available at the hotel and convention center.
- Keeps in constant communication with servers to ensure all tables are greeting in a timely manner.
- Monitors the dining room and keeps an accurate account of clean/seated/dirty tables.
- Assists servers with bussing and resetting tables.
- Keeps in contact with Restaurant Manager/Server Lead with regards to business demands.
- Maintains current knowledge of specials and features.
- Assist Servers with guests needs throughout the dining experience, as needed.
- Keeps the restaurant clean and organized.
- Previous restaurant experience preferred
- Must be highly organized and possess an eye for detail
- Must be able to manage multiple priorities and be able to work calmly in a fast paced environment.
- Must have a positive and professional upbeat personality with a desire to deliver extreme customer service to our guests.
- This position requires a flexible schedule with the ability to work nights and weekends.
- The ideal candidate will have previous restaurant/hostess experience in an upscale casual dining facility.
- This position requires constant standing and walking. Frequent head turning, bending, squatting, reaching handling and grasping. Must be able to lift and carry up to 60 lbs. Candidate must be able to pass a job specific post-offer physical prior to beginning employment with Oasis Hotel.
