What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Follow up position at Prime Imaging?
Responsibilities for this position include:
- Follow-up with patients to research and resolve unpaid insurance claims
- Answer incoming calls from patients regarding their statement/account balance
- Maintains current knowledge of internal, industry, and government regulations as applicable
- Ability to read and understand different Explanation of Benefits
- Ability to document accounts clearly
- Ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks
- Ability to prioritize workload
- Ability to focus and successfully meet weekly and monthly goals set by Management
Preferred Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Two years of experience in revenue cycle management
- Computer proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, along with general knowledge of internet navigation research, and medical billing systems
