Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) – Nightime Admissions Role
Location: Central Maine Medical Center – Lewiston
Position Type: Full-Time or Part-Time
Schedule: Nights - 7pm to 7am
Position Overview
Central Maine Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our inpatient team in a admissions-focused role.
This position is ideal for both experienced APPs and new graduates who have completed extensive clinical rotations, particularly in hospital-based settings. The APP will focus on new patient admissions, ensuring timely, high-quality evaluations and seamless coordination of care. In addition to admissions, the APP will also manage inpatient surgical patients.

- Perform detailed clinical assessments and develop care plans

- Coordinate care with nursing, case management, and ancillary services
- Assist with care transitions and discharge planning as appropriate
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
- Active or eligible for Maine licensure
