A skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility in Weaverville, NC is seeking an organized, dependable, and detail-oriented Scheduler to join our team. This position plays a vital role in ensuring appropriate staffing coverage throughout the facility while supporting daily staffing operations and communication with nursing staff.
We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment, has strong communication skills, and can effectively manage scheduling needs while maintaining professionalism and accuracy.
Responsibilities:Prepare and maintain nursing department schedules
Monitor daily staffing needs and assist with shift coverage
Communicate staffing updates and needs with management and nursing staff
Track attendance, call-outs, and schedule changes
Assist with agency staffing coordination when needed
Ensure schedules remain compliant with staffing guidelines and facility needs
Maintain accurate scheduling records and reports
Work closely with HR and nursing leadership regarding staffing concerns
Previous scheduling experience preferred
Active NC CNA Certification.
Healthcare or long-term care experience strongly preferred
Experience with staffing or scheduling systems is a plus
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality
Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office
