What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nurse Practitioner - Hospitalist Group-Nights 7 On/7 Off position at Prime Healthcare?
St. Mary's Medical Medical Center, located in Blue Springs, MO is seeking an experienced advanced practice provider to join the hospitalist team as a night-time hospitalist practitioner. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years' experience working as an NP or PA hospitalist and be comfortable working autonomously without supervision. Candidates must be comfortable working in a collaborative practice agreement with supervising physicians.
The Nurse Practitioner focuses on providing general care to patients of all ages, with utmost patience, care, compassion and understanding. Perform tasks within their scope of practice which may include conducting tests, recording medical histories, providing treatments, assisting physicians and enhancing public awareness on the importance of health, and prescribing medications.
- Qualified candidates must have minimum 2 years' experience working as NP Hospitalist
- Must be comfortable working autonomously

- 12-hour shifts

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
1. MSN with specialization as an ARNP
2. Current state license as an Advanced Practice Nurse
3. BLS upon hire and maintain current
4. One to two years of experience as a nurse practitioner required
5. Previous experience with electronic health record.
