Description
Growing medical group is seeking a Medical Assistant who has interest and knowledge in musculoskeletal concerns and/or family medicine or is interested in learning about a new field of medicine. Candidates should be interested in working with patients of all ages.
Must have the ability to handle administrative and clinical duties which may include but are not limited to triaging calls, patient screening and brief assessment of problems, medication review, obtaining full vital signs, answering phones, making appointments, and obtaining prior authorizations.
Candidates should have experience in or interest in receiving training for preparing medications for injection, EKG, preventative screenings, etc.
Candidates should demonstrate the following skills:

- Great active-listening skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Experience collaborating and working as part of a team

- Ability to effectively multi-task and prioritize between responsibilities

- Great problem-solving ability

Requirements
- COVID 19 Vaccination
- Willing to properly wear a mask for the entirety of the work day.
- Demonstrated written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Athena experience is a plus.
- Fluency in Spanish and experience supporting other primary care physicians is a plus.
