Medical Assistant (Full-Time) - Internal Medicine

We are a well-established, busy Internal Medicine practice looking for a full-time Medical Assistant who is friendly, organized, and passionate about providing outstanding patient care. What You'll Do- Welcome and room patients while creating a positive patient experience
- Obtain vital signs and document medical histories
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers as needed
- Perform point-of-care testing (per state regulations)
- Process prescription refill requests and prior authorizations
- Maintain exam rooms, stock supplies, and ensure infection control standards are met
- Accurately document patient information in the electronic medical record

Requirements
What We're Looking For
- Medical Assistant certification preferred, but experienced candidates are encouraged to apply
- Previous experience in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Primary Care preferred
- Experience with electronic medical records (Athenahealth experience is a plus)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy clinical setting
- A positive attitude and a team-first mindset
