Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Human Resources Assistant. In this role, you will provide essential support to the HR department by assisting with various administrative tasks, facilitating the recruitment process, and contributing to the overall efficiency of HR operations. Responsibilities:
- Assist with the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting initial candidate screenings.
- Coordinate new hire onboarding activities, including preparing orientation materials, conducting orientation sessions, and processing new hire paperwork.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HRIS (Human Resources Information System) database.
- Assist with benefits administration tasks, such as enrolling employees in benefits programs, processing changes, and addressing employee inquiries.
- Provide administrative support to the HR team, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and preparing documents and reports.
- Assist with employee relations activities, including responding to employee inquiries, escalating issues as needed, and maintaining confidentiality.
- Support HR projects and initiatives as assigned, such as employee engagement programs, performance management processes, and diversity and inclusion initiatives.
- Stay informed about relevant employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills in the field of human resources.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience in an administrative role or internship experience in HR is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
