SUMMARY of POSITION
The Food & Beverage Position is a member of the Food and Beverage team and is responsible for greeting every guest with a smile and positive attitude, organizing and maintaining a clean service area, cleaning tables and the restaurant area, and following all local health laws. Additional responsibilities include maintaining an inventory of needed supplies and being familiar with the hotel’s amenities and hours of operation. The Food & Beverage Position is responsible for performing other support functions which include cleaning the food preparation and customer seating areas, stocking, and maintaining inventory.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Assure that all interactions with guests are handled in a legal, ethical manner.
- Comply with Company Standards of Service as outlined for PMG Hospitality.

- Treats guests, vendors, customers and co-workers with professionalism and respect at all times.
- Complete Departmental, PMG Hospitality, and Brand standards training as assigned.
- Maintains a clean and neat appearance at all times. A complete uniform (or business dress for non- uniformed associates) must be worn at all times in public areas, including name tag.
- Have a thorough knowledge of emergency procedures.
- Perform all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established company policies and procedures to achieve the overall objectives of this position.
- Politely greets customers, provides information about the products.
- Perform any and all other duties as requested by the Bistro Supervisor and/ or management.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required. A prior demonstrated ability to interact with guests and fellow teammates in a friendly, enthusiastic, and professional manner. Requires the ability to bend, twist, and stand to perform normal job functions. Requires the ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and policy documents, as well as converse comfortably with guests. Some prior cash handling and customer service experience required.
