Corporate Accountant

Overview

Responsibilities

•      Assist in the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.•     Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger.•     Perform account reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records•     Conduct bank reconciliations to verify and resolve discrepancies.•     Support audit processes by providing documentation and resolving queries.•     Assist in preparation of expense allocation.•     Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts•     Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.•     Maintain compliance with accounting standards and company policies.•     Perform other duties and ad-hoc projects as assigned by the Manager

Qualifications

•     Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.•     1-3 years of relevant accounting experience•     CPA a plus•     Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)•     Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software•     Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills•     Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple priorities.•     Effective communication and interpersonal skills•     Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
