Prime Designs is seeking a Seasonal Production Seamstress to join our production team from August, with a flexible start date, through November 20.

Position Summary

This position is ideal for an experienced seamstress or highly skilled home sewer who enjoys precision work, takes pride in craftsmanship, and thrives in a collaborative production environment. Team members play an important role in producing custom Irish dance costumes that meet our high standards for quality, fit, and craftsmanship.

PART-TIME Flexible hours between 7:30am and 4pm

Full Time: 35-40 hours between 7:30am and 4pm

Primary Responsibilities

• Construct garments using industrial sewing equipment.
• Sew princess seams, sleeves, zippers, bindings, and other garment components.
• Perform understitching, overlocking, pressing, and minor hand sewing.
• Read and follow sewing patterns and work instructions.
• Cut fabric and garment components accurately.
• Maintain consistent quality and attention to detail throughout production.
• Inspect work to ensure proper fit, construction, and workmanship.
• Assist with pressing garments during various stages of production.
• Assist with occasional packaging and labeling of finished garments.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation.
• Support additional production tasks as needed to help the team meet deadlines.
