Position Overview:
General Dental office in Leander and Liberty Hill, a privately owned and patient-focused practice, is seeking an experienced and driven treatment plan coordinator to lead our front office operations. This is a great opportunity for someone who values a close-knit team environment, personalized patient care, and the ability to make a meaningful impact in a growing practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Present diagnosed treatment plans clearly and professionally to patients
- Explain recommended procedures, sequencing, and benefits of treatment
- Review insurance estimates, patient portions, and financing options
- Help patients understand urgency and importance of treatment
- Increase case acceptance through patient education and follow-up
- Coordinate phased treatment and specialty referrals when needed
- Answer patient questions regarding treatment and financial arrangements
- Track unscheduled treatment and follow up consistently
- Maintain accurate treatment notes and documentation in practice software
- Manage daily and future schedules efficiently
- Schedule appointments according to provider production goals and chair utilization
- Ensure proper appointment length and procedure sequencing
- Confirm appointments and reduce no-shows/cancellations
- Maintain productive hygiene and doctor schedules
- Fill open chair time quickly using short-call/ASAP lists
- Monitor schedule for opportunities to improve efficiency
- Coordinate emergency patients appropriately
- Schedule treatment in logical and financially productive order
Skills:
- 2 years of dental office experience preferred but not required
- Strong understanding of optimized scheduling, treatment planning, dental insurance and billing procedures
- Experience with dental practice management software(Open Dental )
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative in a private practice setting
