Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Landscape Fertilizer Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for applying fertilizers, weed control treatments, and other lawn care products to both commercial and residential properties. The ideal candidate is comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions and is committed to delivering high-quality results and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply fertilizers, herbicides, and other lawn care treatments according to company standards and safety regulations
- Diagnose lawn and landscape issues, including weeds, pests, and nutrient deficiencies
- Operate and maintain application equipment, including spreaders and sprayers
- Follow all local, state, and federal guidelines for chemical handling and application
- Keep accurate records of services performed and materials used
- Communicate with customers regarding services, recommendations, and follow-up care
- Ensure properties are treated efficiently while maintaining a clean and professional appearance
- Assist with route planning and time management to complete scheduled services
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in lawn care, landscaping, or pesticide application is a plus
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to obtain and maintain any required state pesticide applicator licenses
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and customer service skills
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly
- Comfortable standing, walking, and working outdoors for extended periods
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions (heat, cold, rain)
Work Environment:
