What are the responsibilities and job description for the Precast Concrete Inspector (PCI) position at Prime Consulting Inc?
Prime Consulting is currently seeking Precast Concrete Inspector (PCI) Level I & II.
Responsibilities:
- Provide quality control inspections and testing activities at precast fabrication facilities to ensure continuous control over materials, facilities, and products
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
- Work with production daily on improving overall quality by communicating observations
- Keep records of all materials received and panels produced and produces quality control reports
- Pre and post pour testing and problem solving during the mixing and pouring process
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year experience in Quality Control
- ACI Field Testing Technician Grade 1 required
- PCI Level I certification required or ability to obtain within three months
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to work in a fabrication plant construction environment with extended periods of walking and standing.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Requires outdoor work in all weather.
