Primary Therapy Source is looking for a Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our team. We are an out-patient organization that offers Physical, Occupational, Speech, and Behavioral therapy to patients of all ages. Minimum Requirements and Qualifications:
- Must possess a valid Idaho license of Occupational Therapy Assistant
- Valid driver's license
- Pass an employer conducted background check
- Associate's Degree
Duties and responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
- Provide therapy services to each patient consistent with physician orders, evaluation, and approved therapy plan as a licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant.
- Provide legible, signed and dated daily notes and progress notes for each patient which reports shall include changes in condition, response to treatment, coordination of services and such other information.
- Complete required supervision with OTR per licensure regulations
- Documentation of patients in a correct manner and maintain confidentially of all patient medical information.
- Provide accurate treatment times and dates of service on all documentation as well as billing sheets.
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Adapts/modifies instructional materials as determined by patients needs and abilities
- Must be able to react with flexibility and sensitivity to changing situations
- Participate in health professional/administration planning meetings, patient conferences, and staff meetings.
- Participate in the review and evaluation of total patient care.
- Participate in and provide in-service programs as requested.
