What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sr Test Engineer position at Primary Talent Partners?
Primary Talent Partners has a new contract opening for a Sr Test Engineer with our medical device client in Tempe, AZ. This is a 6-month contract with a potential for extension.
Pay: $45.00 - $55.00/hr; W2 contract, no PTO, no Benefits. ACA-compliant supplemental package available for enrollment. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must be able to sit on Primary Talent Partners W2 without sponsorship.
Description
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Proficiency in software skills such as: LabView and TestStand
- Designs, develops, and implements testing methods and equipment.
- Plans and arranges the labor, schedules, and equipment required for testing and evaluating standard and special devices.
- Provides test area with parameters for sample testing and specifies tests to be performed.
- Compiles data and defines changes required in testing equipment, testing procedures, manufacturing processes, or new testing requirements.
- Responsible for testing all customer samples and for special tests that cannot be performed in the test area.
- Good communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to work and contribute in a team-based environment
- Exposure to digital and analog functional testing in a lab or work setting. Hands on experience with lab equipment: Oscilloscope, Power Supplies, DMM, etc.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Chemical Engineering
- 4 years of relevant experience with:
- Lab View & Test Stand
- Electrical Testing
- Lab Equipment
- Lab View & Test Stand
- Electrical test
- Lab equipment
