What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior IOS Developer position at Primary Talent Partners?
Job Details
Pay: $70.00 - $77.00/hr; W2 contract, no PTO, no Benefits. ACA-compliant supplemental package available for enrollment.
Location & Remote Policy
- Hybrid : This is a hybrid role. The candidate must be local to the St. Louis, MO area or willing to relocate from Day 1.
- On-site Requirement: The team follows the Client hybrid policy (approx. 3 days/week on-site every alternate week).
Key Role Details
- Focus: New feature development.
- Conversion: There is a strong intent to convert the contractor to a full-time employee after the 12-month contract, based on performance.
- Drive code/design/process trade-off discussions within their team when required
- Report status and manage risks within their primary application/service
- Drive integration of services focusing on customer journey and experience
- Perform demos/acceptance discussions in interacting with Product owners
- Understands operational and engineering experience, actively works to improve experience and metrics in ownership area
- Develop complete understanding of end-to-end technical architecture and dependency systems
- Drive adoption of technology standards and opinionated frameworks, and review coding, test, and automation work of team members
- Mentor and guide new and less-experienced team members
- Identify opportunities to improve an overall process and trim waste
- Share and seek knowledge within their Guild/Program to drive reuse of patterns/libraries/practices and enhance productivity
Top 3 required technical skills:
- Advanced level knowledge of native iOS development (Swift/Objective-C/Swift UI)
- Depth of experience in custom UI design, animations and interactions using SwiftUI
- knowledge on common Xcode tooling (fastlane, xcodebuild, command line scripting, frameworks, swift package manager etc.
