Primary Talent Partners has a new contract opening for an Network Operations Specialist i with our telecommunications client in Canonsburg, PA. This is a 12-month contract with a potential for extension.
Pay: $26.03 - $31.03/hr; W2 contract, no PTO, no Benefits. ACA-compliant supplemental package available for enrollment.
Description:
The Network Operations Specialist is a key contributor to the efficiency and reliability of network operations. This role provides comprehensive operational support and project coordination for network-related activities, ensuring seamless communication between internal teams and external partners. The Specialist is responsible for managing workflows, maintaining accurate records, and overseeing administrative processes that support network performance. Additional responsibilities include billing, documentation control, and compliance with established procedures and service standards. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Responsibilities:
Operational Process Management
- Review, evaluate, and document operational processes related to billing, payments, and network services to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and reduce errors.
- Service Management & Task Coordination
- Create, update, and manage tasks in ServiceNow, ensuring timely resolution and accurate tracking of all requests.
- Maintain and update tracking systems, including third-party management platforms, to provide real-time status updates and ensure data integrity.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for operational processes, projects, and programs.
- Monitor files for completeness and accuracy, ensuring compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and distribute correspondence related to projects, programs, and operational updates for internal and external stakeholders.
- Communicate potential issues to management proactively, preventing escalation to critical status.
- Assist with administrative preparation for meetings, including compiling reports and supporting materials.
- Provide additional administrative assistance as needed to support network operations and project teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of operational tasks and initiatives.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with a focus on accuracy and detail.
- Proficiency in ServiceNow or similar service management platforms.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with network operations, billing processes, and documentation best practices.
