What are the responsibilities and job description for the Laboratory Technician II position at Primary Talent Partners?

Primary Talent Partners has a 7 month contract opening for a Laboratory Technician II to join a multinational biotechnology company for an overnight onsite position operating out of Coralville, IA.

Pay: $25.00/hr
Contract: 7 months, extensions likely, conversion possible
Type: W-2, cannot support C2C or provide visa sponsorship
Shift: Overnight: Monday - Friday from 8:00pm - 5:00am

Responsibilities:

Support manufacturing by ensuring product and process quality through a variety of analytical test methods.
Handle sample and reagent preparation in accordance with established SOPs for analytical and functional assays while maintaining detailed and accurate sample, product, and instrument records.
Operate multiple analytical instruments (ie. NMR, GC, UV-Vis, Mass Spec, Capillary Electrophoresis, RP-HPLC) and process and analyze data to make pass/fail decisions on tested materials.

Required Qualifications:

Associate’s degree and two years of applicable experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
Proficiency with computers and a variety of software in a windows-based environment

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field preferred.
Experience working with analytical instrumentation preferred.
