Equipment Engineer II - Validation

Primary Talent Partners has a new contract opening for an Equipment Engineer II  with our medical device client in Brooklyn Park, MN. This is a 9-month contract with a potential for extension.

Pay: $45.00 - $55.00/hr; W2 contract, no PTO, no Benefits. ACA-compliant supplemental package available for enrollment. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must be able to sit on Primary Talent Partners W2 without sponsorship.


Description
Responsibilities may incl   ude the following and other duties may be assigned:

• Evaluates, selects and orders equipment that is most appropriate and cost effective for the manufacture of company products.
• Oversees the installation, modification, upgrade and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
• Maintains current records on equipment manufacturers' technical notices, upgrades and safety issues. Studies equipment performance and reliability.
• Establishes programs and solutions for increasing uptime and for equipment problems that affect the manufacturing process.
• Provides technical support to the manufacturing equipment repair and process engineering organizations.
• Defines and writes preventative maintenance schedules.
  

Must Have Skills:

• Experience in equipment IQ
• Process Validation Lifecycle (from process characterization, OQ to PQ)
• Equipment development and validation documentation for manufacturing systems and utilities
• Support for automation and project execution in a regulated manufacturing environment
• Experience with validation deliverables, including TMVs, and cross-functional coordination with engineering, quality, and operations
  
  

Nice to Have Skills:

• Computer and software validation
• Change control of Medical Devices
