Role Description This is a full-time, Remote Mortgage Loan Officer role based in Greensboro, NC. The Mortgage Loan Officer will guide borrowers through the loan process from initial inquiry to closing, including assessing financial profiles, explaining suitable loan products, and collecting required documentation. Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience working as a Loan Officer or in a similar mortgage sales role, with a strong understanding of borrower needs and loan processes.
- Knowledge of the Mortgage Industry and familiarity with common residential loan products, compliance requirements, and industry regulations.
- Hands-on expertise in Mortgage Lending, including originating, structuring, and managing residential mortgage loans from application to closing.
- Experience collaborating with Underwriting teams, with the ability to interpret underwriting conditions and help applicants meet documentation requirements.
- Strong Customer Service skills, including clear communication, active listening, and the ability to manage expectations and build long-term relationships.
- Proven sales and business development abilities, with a track record of meeting or exceeding production goals.
- Ability to work on-site in Greensboro, NC, and collaborate effectively with branch team members and local referral partners.
- Attention to detail, solid organizational skills, and proficiency with loan origination systems and basic office software.
