What You'll Do
- Provide preventive, acute, and chronic care services for pediatric patients.
- Perform physical examinations, well-child visits, and developmental assessments.
- Diagnose and treat illnesses and injuries.
- Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic testing.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and coordinate specialty referrals when needed.
- Educate patients and families on health, wellness, disease prevention, and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with providers, nursing staff, and care teams to deliver exceptional patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and support the Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) model.
- Supervise assigned clinical support staff and Pediatric Nurse Practitioners as applicable.
Qualifications
Required:
- Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree from an accredited medical school.
- Successful completion of an accredited Pediatric Residency Program.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics.
- Current and unrestricted medical licensure.
Preferred:
- Two or more years of pediatric practice experience.
