What are the responsibilities and job description for the Certified Medical Assistant- Float position at Primary Care Specialists?
Busy medical office in Pocatello is looking to hire a Certified Medical Assistant- Float. Successful candidates will be energetic, motivated and task oriented. Must be comfortable with both clinical & administrative duties.
Responsibilities:
Respect client’s rights and maintains confidentiality; ensure HIPAA compliance at all times.
Main Duties:
-Back office procedures including recording vital signs and medical histories.
-Assisting physician with exams & minor surgeries.
-Preparation of treatment trays, cleaning and sterilizing instruments and equipment.
-Room turn over and sterilization.
-Stocking cabinets and treatment rooms & ordering supplies as needed.
-Assisting with first aide emergencies.
-Call in, fax and/or e-prescribing medication.
-Chronic Care Management
May be asked to help with some of the following after training:
-Insurance authorizations, referrals, and billing.
-Medical records management.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
1-2 years experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinical setting with EMR experience. Pay DOE. $16-20 hour. Full benefits package after 90 days. Knowledge of medical terminology & computer proficiency.
This Medical Office is currently open Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
