Responsibilities:
- Taking and recording patient vital signs (such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature).
Assisting healthcare providers with medical examinations and procedures.Collecting and preparing laboratory specimens
Performing basic laboratory tests.
Administering medications as directed by healthcare providers.
Handling patient communication, including phone calls and messages.
Providing instructions to patients regarding medications, procedures, and follow-up care.
Experience:
- Previous experience working as a Medical Assistant in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Proficiency in basic life support techniques.
- Familiarity with medication administration and dosage calculations.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately code medical procedures.
Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide exceptional patient service.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in using electronic health record systems and other medical software.
