What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lab Tech/MLT/MT/Lab Assistant or MA with Lab Experience position at Primary Care Associates?
About Us:
Primary Care Associates is a busy Family Practice with a moderate-complexity laboratory. We are dedicated to providing exceptional care to our patients and are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a full-time Lab Technician.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform in-house testing, including CBCs, INRs, complete UAs, kit testing, KOH/wet preps, and phlebotomy.
- Maintain and monitor quality control procedures to ensure compliance with established standards.
- Conduct quality control checks on laboratory instrumentation.
- Operate and manage the laboratory information system efficiently.
- Foster effective working relationships with patients, medical staff, and the public.
Schedule:
- Full-time, Monday–Thursday: 7:50 AM – 5:00 PM
- Fridays: 7:50 AM – 12:00 PM
- Rotational Saturdays: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Qualifications:
- MLT/MT certification or MA with prior laboratory experience.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
