The ideal candidate understands Instagram and TikTok, has a strong interest in beauty and wellness, and can balance thoughtful communication with strong organization and follow-through.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Community Engagement

  • Respond to comments and direct messages across Primally Pure’s organic and paid social channels, and tagged mentions in a timely manner.
  • Build relationships with customers, creators, brands, and aligned accounts through thoughtful, proactive engagement.
  • Identify recurring questions, community feedback, and relevant conversations to share with the broader team.
  • Support communications and activations within Instagram Broadcast Channels and other emerging social features.
  • Help maintain a consistent, timely, and elevated brand voice across community touchpoints.

Social Media Coordination

  • Coordinate assets and publishing across social platforms, with a primary focus on Instagram and TikTok.
  • Support the social content calendar, ensuring assets are organized, approved, and published accurately and on time.
  • Assist with capturing content at the Murrieta office, Podcast filming, photoshoots, community events, brand activations, and Southern California opportunities as needed.
  • Assist with captions, Instagram Story copy, community prompts, and platform-specific messaging.
  • Coordinate creative briefs, timelines, and asset needs with the social designer and internal partners.
  • Support giveaways, brand partnerships, product launches, and social growth initiatives.
  • Share weekly updates on relevant platform trends, content formats, and social opportunities.

  • Track engagement, response activity, community growth, and other relevant KPIs.
  • Surface audience insights, recurring feedback, and content opportunities that can inform future social strategy.
  • Support launch and campaign reporting with qualitative and quantitative community insights.

  • 2–3 years of experience in social media, community, influencer marketing, or a related role.
  • Experience within skincare, beauty, health, wellness, lifestyle, or another consumer brand is strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong understanding of Instagram and TikTok, including publishing, engagement, trends, and platform best practices.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a strong eye for tone, grammar, and brand consistency.
  • Highly organized and able to balance multiple projects, priorities, timelines, and relationships at once.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities may shift quickly.
  • A proactive, resourceful go-getter who is not afraid to dive in, take initiative, and help wherever needed.
  • Strong follow-through and the ability to move projects forward with minimal oversight.
