Quality Manager
Reporting To: Sr. Quality Manager
Employment Time: Full Time
Compensation: $100k to $110k
Location: Murrieta
THE OPPORTUNITY
Primally Pure’s Quality Manager is responsible for implementing and executing inspection, testing procedures, and evaluation methods to ensure our products meet the high standards our customers expect. This role is crucial in developing and enforcing programs, practices, and procedures that promote product quality and ensure compliance across all departments. The Quality Manager partners cross-functionally to ensure sitewide Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) are upheld, and is responsible for driving a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
This role reports to the Sr. Quality Manager and is responsible for briefing management on quality performance metrics, issues, and opportunities for improvement. The Quality Manager also ensures all measurement tools are properly numbered and calibrated.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage and maintain sitewide Corrective Action and Preventive Action (CAPA) documentation
Lead root cause analysis to support resolution and continuous improvement initiatives
Develop and verify adherence to in-process quality checks during production runs
Track, monitor, and report on key quality metrics across departments
Create and deliver management briefs on quality performance and continuous improvement initiatives
Develop, review, and improve quality procedures and specifications for products and processes
Train team members on quality protocols, standards, and expectations
Communicate quality expectations and requirements to production teams and other departments
Identify opportunities to enhance the manufacturing process and ensure the production of high-quality goods
Conduct regular physical inspections of facilities and operations to ensure GMP compliance
Oversee and guide personnel responsible for quality oversight and compliance
Set raw material requirements and monitor supplier compliance
Supervise quality leads, technicians, and support staff, offering coaching and development
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and legal standards
Monitor product development procedures and intervene when deviations from standards occur
Inspect final products and approve or reject based on quality criteria
Maintain accurate documentation and conduct statistical analyses
Collect feedback, attend meetings, and support audits and inspections with required reporting
IDEAL CANDIDATE CHARACTERISTICS
Excellent communication and listening skills
Bachelor’s degree in a science-based or business-related field
3 years of experience in quality control, ideally in a production or manufacturing environment
Production or manufacturing experience preferred
Strong attention to detail, observation, and organizational skills
In-depth knowledge of quality procedures, legal standards, and GMPs
Proficiency in data analysis, statistical methods, and IT systems
Experience in business administration is a plus
Salary : $105,000 - $110,000
