- Manage a broad spectrum of clinical conditions such as behavioral health issues, acute pain, geriatrics, and chronic illnesses.
- Perform procedures including suturing, IV insertions, venipuncture, catheterization, and dermal filler administration when appropriate.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals across specialties to develop and implement personalized treatment plans.
- Utilize telehealth platforms to provide remote consultations and follow-up care for diverse patient populations.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure meticulous medical documentation in electronic health records systems like Epic or eClinicalWorks.
Skills
- Proven experience working with electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic, Cerner, or Athenahealth.
- Strong knowledge of pharmacology for prescribing medications safely and effectively.
- Skilled in performing clinical procedures including suturing, sterile techniques, phlebotomy, and injection administration.
- Experience managing patients with complex conditions such as infectious diseases, critical care needs, or hospice & palliative medicine.
- Familiarity with specialized areas like gastroenterology, neuropsychiatry, geriatrics, or emergency medicine is highly desirable.
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments such as hospital medicine units or urgent care settings.
- Excellent client communication skills with a focus on patient education and health coaching.
