Job Summary:
We seek a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Analyst to support our financial operations. This role involves meticulous handling of accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy in financial documentation, and contributing to a dynamic team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactions.
- Review and process escrow disbursements. Monitor balances and prepare replenishment statements.
- Prepare and process invoices, manage expense reports, and handle reconciliation of accounts.
- Support the preparation of financial statements and reports for management review.
- Maintain accurate financial records and manage both digital and physical filing systems.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Respond promptly to client or internal inquiries regarding financial transactions or discrepancies.
- Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
- Assist in audit preparations by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
Qualifications:
- An associate degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role.
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, etc) and Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong numerical skills with an eye for detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with team members and clients.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating a strong commitment to our core values.
- Must be adaptable, with a problem-solving mindset and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
